M. Kelley Hunter, Ph.D., has avidly studied the stars as astrologer, mythologist and stargazer since the 1960s. Studies in depth psychology, cosmology, holistic modalities, unified field physics, spirituality and consciousness, as well as 1001 nights (or more) of stargazing have enriched her teaching and consultation work. She enjoys the creative process through drama, visual arts, poetry, movement and experiential learning.
A longtime writer, she authored Living Lilith: Four Dimensions of the Cosmic Feminine. A member of the Goddess Scholars online network, Kelley contributed to Patricia Monaghan's 3-volume anthology, Goddesses in World Culture. Her articles have appeared in numerous magazines, including The Mountain Astrologer and The International Astrologer as well as online. She sends out her own COSMIC NEWS blog on New and Full Moons, via email, Facebook and on her website.
An internationally-respected astrologer, Dr. Kelley has lectured and presented workshops around the U.S., Canada, in western and eastern Europe, Turkey, and the Caribbean. She is very interested in the realignment of astronomy and astrology. Until the 16th century, these now-separate fields were a combined discipline. The science of Astronomy develops our technical understanding of the movements of the planets and our place in the larger cosmos, continually making new and exciting discoveries. Through its long history, the science and art of Astrology has developed sophisticated methods to interpret these cycles in relation to our lives on Earth. As written in the Bible, "There is a time to every purpose under Heaven."
